Springtime invites us to add more fluid movement, twists, and vinyasas to our practice.  Root and rise will generate warmth from the inside out to help move lymph, increase circulation of the blood and prana (life force energy), and clear a foggy mind.  Twists, balance poses and a gentle vinyasa flow will prime our bodies for the Spring weather and outdoor activities.  This series is for all levels.

Start your Wednesday off right with a gentle slow flow. We will begin with gentle breathing and grounding and then explore ways to slowly move our bodies to support strengthening and lengthening the muscles. This is an all-level class and open to anyone. $10/Class

Yoga for the active aging adult centers around mindful movement to increase mobility and flexibility.  Anjali will guide the class each Friday morning into mindful poses to ease arthritis, release tension, and bring more stability and balance to our movements.  This 6-week series will include the foundational poses of yoga and then each week explore deeper movement in these poses.  Classes will offer a variety of balance, strength, stretch, and slow flow touching on all areas of the body.  Yoga helps calm the mind, unwind the body, and bring a deeper connection to self and others.  

Practice is key to yoga; we will explore movement with a deeper sense of purpose each week.  All levels of yoga experience are welcome.  The class is focused on the active aging adult.  (aka Seniors and 55+)

Connect with friends and family with a private session. Anjali is now offering opportunities for you to connect with friends and family across the U.S. in the privacy of your own home. Simply choose a date and time that works for you and she will create a Zoom link and send it to your family and friends. Easy peasy!

 

I just have to say... I love your class. I didn’t know whether I would like yoga by zoom, but I do!! Here are a few reasons why: I see you!; and a great little tribe; I can fart and no one will hear it; my feet can stink and no one will smell them; I can wear pajamas; my sick dog can join me when she wants to (we curled up together for shivasana today).
